Nicole Kidman is Pregnant

Nicole Kidman is pregnant, according to The Daily Mail.

The Golden Compass actress, 40, told friends and family over the Christmas holiday that she and husband Keith Urban, 40, are expecting, the UK newspaper reported.

Kidman and the country singer have been married since June 2006. There are no details on when the baby is due.

She has two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise – Isabella, 15, and Connor, 12 – but their relationship is strained. "They call me Mom," Cruise's new wife, Katie Holmes, said recently.
Kidman has talked openly about wanting another baby. "I'm yearning to have one," she told Vanity Fair in September. "I think I would be very sad if I wasn't able to have a baby. Keith knows I want one, and he has been getting there slowly."

In an interview in February on Oprah's Oscar Special, Russell Crowe asked the actress if she planned on getting pregnant. "I hope so," she replied.

When Crowe remarked that he'd like to see Kidman "walking around barefoot and pregnant," the actress agreed – "I'd like to see that, too."

Kidman told Vogue last year: "I always thought I'd eventually live on a Fijian island. I love the idea of being in a sarong, with hair down to my bum and kids following my around and hanging out."

After her split from Cruise in 2001, Kidman admitted she'd suffered an ectopic pregnancy that resulted in miscarriage at one point in their 10-year marriage. "From the minute Tom and I were married, I wanted to have babies. And we lost a baby early on, so that was really very traumatic," she told Vanity Fair.

Three months into their marriage, Urban checked himself into the Betty Ford clinic for three months to treat alcohol addiction. "We had to dig really deep," Kidman has said.

Kidman begins an eight-week shoot for The Reader in Berlin next month, but after that has no movie projects lined up, the Daily Mail reported.

Mischa Will NOT Host Now

So it looks like Mischa Barton won't be hosting that Cathouse party in Vegas after all, in the wake of her splashy arrest on DUI charges. Mischa "can't give interviews on the red carpet or deal with the press right now," a source tells the New York Post, "so they told her she can't do the event."

As of yesterday morning, Barton was still scheduled to appear at the event.Also on Friday, TMZ got an exclusive interview with a police source who told us that Mischa blew a .12 on her breathalyzer, and admitted to smoking pot earlier on the day of her arrest.

Mischa Still Set to Host New Years Party

Mischa Barton is still set to host a New Year’s bash in Las Vegas this weekend.

“We are aware of Mischa Barton's incident last night, but at present she is still expected to host the CatHouse Grand Opening at Luxor Las Vegas on December 29th,” a rep for the lounge said in a statement obtained by Usmagazine.com. “ We will let you know if anything changes."
The O.C. alum, 21, was arrested at 3 a.m. yesterday morning after police spotted her weaving between two lanes of traffic in West Hollywood.

She was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, according to Los Angeles Sheriff’s Deputy Sgt. John Hocking.

Mischa Barton Busted for DUI

YES!!! Mischa Barton was busted for suspicion of DUI, possession of narcotics and driving with a suspended license, this morning at 2:45am. LA cop says she "was seen straddling two lanes of traffic and failed to signal when making a turn." When deputies pulled her over, they determined that she "was an unlicensed driver and was driving while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage." Brit Spends the Night With Pap

Britney Spears is taking her love for paparazzi attention to a new level!

Spears reportedly spent early Sunday morning in a Beverly Hills hotel room with a paparazzi photographer who regularly covers the troubled pop star.

According to reports, the pair was holed up in Spears' room at the Peninsula Hotel until the wee hours of Sunday. The photographer, whose first name is Adnan, departed the hotel at 6 a.m. Sources say Spears left at around 9 a.m. and returned to her nearby home off Mulholland Drive.

But when contacted, the photographer denied any romance, saying, "We are just friends. She was just a little upset, pretty much about everything."

According to Splash News Online, Spears' "wild date" began Saturday night with the photographer, who works for the Finalpixx photo agency, handing Spears his business card at a gas station after he heard she "liked" him. Soon after getting his card, Spears contacted him and, after meeting up, the pair was later spotted holding hands at a supermarket.

"After discussing the possibility of him coming into her house she said that her house was too dirty and that she would rather go to a hotel," Splash reports. "So they changed cars and she went back to her house to freshen up while Adnan parked down the road and waited for her. She then came out in her car and they both drove to an L.A. hotel."

As of Sunday afternoon, a source says Spears was at her Beverly Hills home with her two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Brit is "Frantic" About Jaime's Baby News

A source close to Britney Spears tells TMZ that she is "frantic" over the news that her baby sister, 16-year-old Jamie Lynn, is pregnant. We're told that before the news hit today, Britney was not aware of her little sis' bun in the oven. Oops ... a Spears did it again.

BREAKING NEWS:Pam Files For Divorce

Pamela Anderson has filed for divorce from Rick Salomon two months after getting married in Las Vegas.

In a December 14 filing obtained by Us Magazine, Anderson sought a claim for dissolution of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.

According to the papers, the date of separation is Dec. 13.

The couple wed on Oct. 6 after dating for a month.

This is Anderson's second quick marriage. She was married to Kid Rock for four months in 2006.

Anderson, 40, has two sons (Brandon, 11, and Dylan, 9) from her previous marriage with rocker Tommy Lee.

Salomon, 39, is known for producing and starring in a 2003 sex tape with ex-girlfriend Paris Hilton. He has two daughters from a previous marriage.

Charlize Theron's Home Gets Robbed

The LAPD has confirmed to Us Magazine that there is an investigation underway concerning a burglary at Charlize Theron’s house in the Hollywood Hills.

"There was a break-in reported at her home sometime over the weekend between the 6th and 8th," Officer Ana Aguirre tells Us Magazine. "There were no suspects seen by any witnesses. And the property that was taken is being evaluated by the homeowner."

At this time it is unknown what was taken.

Cruz Family Can't Get Enough of The Spice Girls

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes can't tear themselves away from the Spice Girls reunion tour.
They were spotted at the Spice Girls' show last night in Las Vegas and took daughter Suri to the gals' Thursday performance in Los Angeles.

That's in addition to Suri's private Spice Girls concert two weeks ago.

"They can't seem to get enough of our girls," the group blogged on their site.

Nicole Richie, actress Emma Roberts, Michael Chiklis, and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger were also in attendance at the L.A. concert on Dec. 7.

After her infamous shoplifting spree at Hustler, Britney Spears continued her five finger discount shopping Friday at a Sherman Oaks, Calif., Chevron gas station, where the singer, 26, snatched a lighter.

"I stole something!" Spears sarcastically told photographers as she walked out of the station with a $1.39 lighter. "Oh, I'm bad!"

Manager Sham Bahia laughed off the incident.

"If I see her, I'm going to ask her for the money!" he told Usmagazine.com. "She's a thief. I don't know if she wanted the lighter or just wanted to make a story."

But, Spears got off the hook. A photographer returned to the store Saturday and paid for it.

Us Weekly reports that Scarlett Johansson has had plastic surgery, a claim the actress vehemently denies.

Scarlett is very upset and threatening legal action.
Her publicist tells competing mag, OK!:

“Us Weekly’s [new] cover story regarding Scarlett Johansson and its clear implication that she has had plastic or cosmetic surgery on her nose is an outrageous and defamatory fabrication lacking any conceivable basis or proof, despite vehement denials by Ms. Johansson prior to publication. Not surprisingly, US magazine cannot provide the dates when she supposedly had this surgery, who performed the surgery, or what was supposedly done — all because there simply is no truth to the story. The publication made a pathetic attempt to validate its story by using two cover photos of Scarlett that were taken years apart with obviously different make-up and lighting, and then relying on an “expert’s opinion” (based solely on looking at the two photos) on what “might” have been done. It wasn’t.

Johansson herself says, “I have always been straightforward with the press regarding her body image and she is very concerned that her fans (and perhaps even my employers) will feel mislead. Thus, I feels compelled to take immediate legal action against Us Weekly.”

Dennis Quaid Sues Drug Company

Dennis Quaid and wife Kimberly Buffington have filed a suit today against Chicago-based Baxter Healthcare Corp. for making the drug Heparin, which they claim seriously injured their newborn twins.

Quaid's attorney Susan E. Loggans told the Chicago Sun Times their babies, Zoe Grace and Thomas Boone, "were very critical for a while" after being given an accidental overdose of the drug at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles last month.

She said the twins have recovered and "everything looks good."

Quaid is suing because he wants to prevent it from happening to any other children. Loggans said three children died in Indiana from a similar mix-up with the drug.

Britney Celebrates 26th Birthday

Britney Spears — who turned 26 Sunday – celebrated her birthday at the Scandinavian Style Mansion in Bel Air on Saturday with cousin Alli Sims, pal Sam Lutfi and her back-on BFF Paris Hilton.

The gang sang “Happy Birthday” as Spears blew out candles on a small chocolate birthday cake. Two enormous body guards shielded her table throughout the event, which was hosted by Danish businessman and Spears pal Claus Hjelmbak.

It was a night to remember for the birthday girl, who scored $30,000 in leather and fur coats — including a $7,000 fur-trimmed white leather coat — at the gifting suites from high-end designer Katja Berglund.

“She was very calm, nice, friendly,” Berglund told Us Magazine. “I know she's had some bad times here, but I think she looked really great.”

After leaving around 12:45 a.m., Spears and crew continued the festivities at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. Hilton was spotted leaving at 3:50 a.m.

Spears spent her actual birthday Sunday with sons Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 14 months.

Brit's Friend Facing Charges

Britney Spears' close friend and adviser Sam Lutfi is scheduled to appear before the L.A. city attorney on Dec. 18, Us Magazine has learned.

The closed-door hearing stems from an Aug. 27 car accident that occured when Lutfi, 33, allegedly rammed his Mercedes into a Range Rover driven by Aaron Cohen, a process server hired by Kevin Federline to subpoena Lutfi in his custody case with his ex wife. Lutfi reportedly collided with Cohen's car after Cohen attempted to serve him the legal papers.

A police officer at the crash scene described the collision as "assault with a deadly weapon." But LAPD officials tell Us Magazine the case is now being considered a "vehicle vandalism incident."

Lutfi was eventually subpoenaed to testify in the Spears-Federline custody case but has not yet given a deposition.

Lindsay dumps Riley

FINALLY! The beautiful, talented, Lindsay Lohan has kicked her loser boyfriend, Riley Giles, to the curb! This happened last week, because Riley wasn't supporting Lindsay's new sober lifestyle.

Akon Charged

Akon has been charged with misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a minor and second-degree harassment. At an earlier concert this year, a 15 year old boy threw something at the singer on stage. Akon asked the crowd to point out the person who threw the object and when the boy was identified, Akon had a security guard bring him on stage. That is when he hoisted the boy onto his shoulders and flung him into the crowd! The boy landed on another kid, who suffered a concussion.

Akon is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

Lindsay Can't Catch A Break

This is one film Lindsay Lohan does NOT want to star in. LA judge Michael Stern has ruled a busboy will videotape Lindsay's deposition as part of a lawsuite against her.

Raymundo Ortega, a paparazzo, is suing Lindsay for at least $200,000 in damages when Lindsay crashed her Mercedes into Ortega's old van in 2005.

Ortega claims Lindsay was under the influence of alcohol while she drove on Robertson Blvd. after lunching at the Ivy.

Usher Welcomes Baby Boy

Usher, 29, and his wife, Tameka Foster, 36, welcomed a baby boy Monday night in Atlanta, a source confirms to SCN.

No other details were given and reps for the couple couldn't be reached for comment.

The child was expected in December, the R&B singer told Us Magazine at an NYC event November 3.

"I hope it will happen naturally," he said. "I hope he's not too late and not too early!"

He told Us Magazine he wanted to name their son Usher Raymond V. "I'm the Fourth, so I can imagine it's a good thing to make him the Fifth," he explained.

It is the first child for the couple, who wed in a civil ceremony in Atlanta on September 1.

Hogan's Shocking Divorce

Linda Hogan filed for divorce from her husband of nearly 24 years, wrester Hulk Hogan, the AP reports.

Hulk, whose real name is Terry Bollea, learned of the split after a reporter told him paperwork was filed in Pinellas County court November 20.

"Thank you for the great information," Hulk, 54, told the St. Petersburg Times reporter.

In a later interview with the Times, Hulk said: "My wife has been in California for about three weeks. ... Holy smokes. Wow, you just knocked the bottom out of me."

On their VH1 reality TV series, Hogan Knows Best, the couple had been attending marital counseling, but seemed to reconcile.

The past several months have been tumultuous for the family.

On November 7, Nick Bollea, Hogan's 17-year-old son, was arrested on reckless-driving charges stemming from an August 26 crash in which he was racing his 1998 Toyota Supra against a Dodge Viper driven by a friend.

John Graziano, who was in Bollea's passenger seat and not wearing a seat belt, was seriously injured and is still in the hospital.

The Hogans, who also have a daughter, Brooke, 19, live in a $12 million home in Miami Beach.

Bachelor Winner Goes to Jail

An early morning fight between The Bachelor and the final rose winner ended with one in jail.
Authorities in Seminole, Florida told the AP that professional fisherman Byron Velvick was punched in the mouth by Mary Delgado, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneer cheerleader he's lived with since proposing on the final episode in 2004.
According to a police affidavit, Delgado was taken into custody on a battery charge just after midnight November 21. The report, which said she was under the influence of alcohol, also listed the couple as living together "as a family" for the past three years.
Delgado, who appeared with Velvick on a special episode of The Bachelor called "After the Final Rose" that aired November 20, was released later Wednesday afternoon.
